2. YOUR INFORMATION:
All information supplied by you is 100% secure, is strictly confidential and will not be divulged to anyone under any circumstances whatsoever.
3. ITEM DESCRIPTIONS:
We exercise the greatest possible care to ensure that all statements as to centring, colour, condition, date of issue, or of postal marking, gum, margins, paper, perforations, printing, provenance, quantity, sheet position, status, usage and watermarks etc. in our descriptions are reliable and accurate and that each item, unless the contrary is indicated, is genuine and authentic. The statements, however, are not intended to be and are not to be taken to be, statements of fact or representation of fact. They are statements in the opinion of the seller and attention is particularly drawn to clauses 9 to13 below.

No scanned or photographed item on the website may be rejected on the grounds of cancellation, centring, margins, perforation or other characteristic, clearly apparent from the scan or photo.
5. ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Certain items may contain notes, lists, writing up, etc. Unless otherwise stated, these do not form part of the description and are not to be taken as such.
6. OWNERSHIP:
All goods remain the property of the seller until paid for in full.

The buyer shall pay the selling price together including any postage and packing costs arising from the purchase immediately upon receipt of invoice and before the item/s is/are dispatched, unless prior alternative arrangements have been agreed upon.

10. CERTIFICATION:
Unless otherwise stated, each item is sold as genuine and properly described. If after paying for the item, the buyer of an item shall prove it to be not genuine or wrongly described, the buyer shall be at liberty to reject the item, provided he or she, (1) being within South Africa within 7 days, or being overseas within a reasonable time, gives notice in writing to the seller of intention to question the genuineness or description of the item, as the case may be, AND (2) within 30 days (or in exceptional cases, such longer time as may be allowed for obtaining expert opinion, at the discretion of the seller) returns the item to Cosmo Philatelics. The onus of proving the item to be not genuine or wrongly described lies with the buyer. Proof of the inability of an Expert Committee to express an opinion will not discharge such onus.No item shall be rejected if, subsequent to the sale it has been immersed in water, marked by an expert or expert committee or treated by any other process, unless the seller’s permission to subject such item to immersion, marking or treatment, has been first obtained in writing. Many continental experts now mark forged stamps; therefore it is essential for permission to be obtained from the seller, BEFORE submitting to these experts.
11. COLLECTIONS and/or UNDESCRIBED STAMPS:
These must be taken with all faults and errors as to numbers (if any) and by reason of the foregoing, a buyer of any such item shall have no right to reject the same.
12. RETURNING A SET:
A set (consisting of more than one stamp) may not be returned due to damage to an individual stamp(s) when the catalogue price of individual stamp(s) in good condition is greater than the catalogue price of the set.
13. BLOCKS & SHEETS:
Minor separations are the rule rather than the exception. A few separations do not affect the value of blocks/sheets (except for where a perfect join is necessary e.g. SA/SWA & Israel Tabs). The onus is on the buyer to state that they will not accept any seperation.
14. COVERS & POSTAL HISTORY:
Torn/partially removed back flaps, cover tears less than 5mm, light creases, small stain/tone spots or aging which does not unduly affect appearance, adhesives or markings, are not justification for an item being returned.
